Christa Vessell

I started Mommish selfishly.

I was postpartum with my second child, drowning in this quiet, suffocating feeling that my needs — my wants, my desires — just didn’t matter anymore. Not to my doctor. Not to society. The second my baby arrived, I became invisible as a person. There were spaces for parenting tips, baby milestones, relationship advice — but nothing that was just for me. No judgment-free zone where I could exist as a mom and a woman still figuring herself out.

Because motherhood, as beautiful as it is, brings a whole lot of identity crisis with it. I struggled through postpartum depression and rage with my second. I struggled in my relationship. I had to do a lot of hard, quiet work on myself before I found my footing again. And the whole time I kept thinking — where is my community? Where is the space that actually sees me?

So I built it.

I have a background in psychology and spent years in commercial real estate helping people find spaces that fit their needs. Turns out, I was always in the business of belonging — I just hadn’t found my people yet. In 2024, Mommish launched as a national membership community with an app, a full content hub, perks, giveaways, and real everyday connection between moms all over the country.

Mommish exists so no mom ever has to feel forgotten again. A space that doesn’t just hear you — it celebrates and spoils you.

When I’m not building, I’m planning the next girls’ trip, hunting for a good rosé, or deep in a Bravo binge.

I want to be your friend!
